A Complete Guide to the Jevil Fight đź“· Guide I'm 4 months late but hey there. Figured I'd made this since the switch and ps4 version was released not too long ago. This guide will be set up into 4 parts: 1) Choosing your route, 2) Preparation & Playing your Route, 3) Individual Attack Rundown, and 4) General tips. Choosing Your Route There are two ways of fighting Jevil: The Pacify Route ...
Jevil fades in and out at the end of his battle, going from visible to invisible and back again. Jevil uses hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs in his attacks, like other Deltarune enemies.
THE JEVIL HIMSELF Again, the wikia folks are awesome, they have JEVIL's attack patterns and phases. The way JEVIL works in his battle is divided into 5 phases.
Jevil could be the Representation of Dissociativeism, as Kris is usually known for either falling asleep in class or longing for Asriel to come back. While Dissociation is usually formed by the effects of PTSD, we don’t (?) know what this stemmed from, but Dess’ disappearance could be one of em.
FINAL CHAOS: on the beginning, random pattern, try to search a spot on the between-side-and-mid lanes and move there in the "lanes". at some point Jevil will appear and with a set pattern that goes from side to mid on both sides and then between-mid-and-sides to mid i think. dodge this by staying mid, and then going to one of the nearby lanes ...
For example, for Jevil’s Spade Spiral attack, there is a certain sweet spot you can move to that completely avoids all projectiles without fail. It’s been a little while since I last fought Jevil, but if I recall correctly, that area is about 3/4 of the way from the center to the upper-left corner.
Really, avoid losing hp during jevil teleport around, bombs and devilknife 1 attacks. Merry go round one with spiral spade is also doable by memorizing the pattern. The carousel is kind of hard but by doing an up-down movement you can manage to avoid everything.
Jevil's fight is split into five phases. On the first three phases, he will randomly use attacks used previously (displaced if stronger variants have been used) until you complete the phase.
I'm been stuck on this lovely jester for a few hours now, so I have resorted to asking the internet: Do you have any tips/tricks for surviving Jevil on pacifist route? Making him tired doesn't seem to have any long-term effects, so it seems like it's a "wait it out" type battle (I think).
Trying to beat Jevil? Read this! Here are some of my tips on beating Jevil: Make sure to have as many healing items. Go to Seam to stock up on darkburgers. Train your reactions. He's unpredictable and the clutter from the bullet hell can make you stumble a lot. Learn the attack patterns. (More on this nearing the end of the post) Healing is your best friend. Ralsei's heal prayer should be used ...
