Don't know if this answer is too late Suekyra. The Chesterfield Canal Trust has two boats on the western section of the canal - one based in Retford and one near Worksop. Each can talk 12 passengers, but for larger groups the Trust runs 'Boats and Boots' trips so part of the group rides and part helps with the locks, and then half way there's a change over, so every one gets to ride and everyone can have a turn at working the locks. See the Chesterfield Canal Trust website for more information. It's in the section header On the Water. Hope this helps
