Nobby's Beach was formed after sand accumulated on the south side of the breakwater after it was built in the 19th century. It's a beautiful, white sand beach with a nice little pavilion alongside.…Full review by Saul_True

I have bought tickets for the Foreshore concert here in November 2016. Whats a nice close park for us to stay in if we decide to bring our campervan up, otherwise some nice accomodation walking distance to stay in on the beach.

I agree with the Stockton option. Newcastle Youth Hostel in Pacific Street would be economical and a very relaxed walk.
