Could be improved by having little timber signs along the way. But most importantly the front wall or all walls need a power hose wash. It's almost black now, looks terrible. You can do better! C+Full review by ckpro

We had an amazing time checking out Charles Fort. The grounds are well maintained and and a great walk. I definitely would recommend checking this spot out if you're in Kinsale.Full review by WilsonLin

Visited Charles Fort on a lovely fall day. We enjoyed learning about its history, strolling the old grounds and the views of Kinsale harbor were spectacular. There is plenty of parking.Full review by 673sheric

As per their website, they are open from 10am to 6 pm until October. When you pay the entrance fee the tour guide/staff would explain to you the layout (we didn't avail of it, we just went on and started the tour ourselves) of the place. Their last admission is an hour before closing time.
Is ther muhc to see in Kinsale? I am like a nature lover, sight seeing and views in the drive is what i like...not sure if ican get any ideas for my short short 4 day tour to ireland from the USA....i am including Killarney to Dingle to Dublin and return....Thanks in advance!!

Yes. Kinsale is definitely worth your time. You can walk to several historical sights so it is great for people who enjoy the outdoors. Take the Scilly walk from Kinsale to Fort Charles.
