Not sure this will be relevant any more but i can answer 2 of your 3 questions; Not sure about the sunday opening times. yes they allow children in, if anything im sure they actively encourage it. There is no admission fee as it is a free museum but they do ask for a reccomended £3 donation towards their operating costs which is only fair but technically there is no admission fee.
