The Vikings appear set with their redshirt rookie QB in JJ McCarthy, but a Steelers legend seems to believe that Aaron Rodgers still has his eye on Minnesota.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers are making "positive momentum" toward an agreement, but the situation largely remains unchanged, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport added that "the specter of retirement—possible retirement—doesn't seem likely."

As committed as the Vikings seem to be to McCarthy at this point, however, Adofo-Mensah wouldn’t completely rule out the possibility of future hall of fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers reemerging as a potential option down the road.
