Authorities are investigating the origins of a mysterious chunk of ice that fell out of the sky and punched a large hole in the metal roof of a Florida home.

A giant block of ice, measuring 6 feet 3 inches tall, crashed through a home in Palm Coast on Monday, officials said. The impact was so loud that a neighbor called 911. Residents rushed outside and were relieved to find no one was injured.
