The NFL has moved Monday's wild-card playoff game between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams to Arizona, it announced Thursday night, saying the decision was made in the "interest of public safety" as wildfires continue to ravage Southern California.

The league cites public safety in switching Monday night’s NFC wild-card game from SoFi Stadium to State Farm Stadium, the home of the Arizona Cardinals.

There could be an NFL playoff game at State Farm Stadium this season after all, despite the Arizona Cardinals having missed out on the postseason.
