The Chiefs and Eagles will now face off in the Super Bowl in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII in 2023. The Chiefs won that game, 38-35 for the first of two consecutive Super Bowl titles and their third in five seasons. They'll now face the Eagles for a second time in their quest for an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat.

Super Bowl 59 is scheduled to be played Feb. 9 at the the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The game will broadcast live on Fox. Kendrick Lamar will perform during the halftime show, accompanied by SZA. Jay-Z and his Roc Nation company are returning to produce the halftime show.

The three-peat is so rare in American professional sports in general, too. The last major men's professional team to win three straight championships was the Los Angeles Lakers.
