Elon Musk's private security detail was reportedly deputized by the U.S. Marshals Service, giving it extra rights while on federal property while he performs work for the Department of Government Efficiency.

The US Marshals Service has deputized members of Elon Musk’s private security detail, giving them certain rights and protections of federal law enforcement agents, three law enforcement officials familiar with the matter told CNN.

Musk said in a Thursday public appearance his security detail should potentially be bigger and that he was “open to ideas” on improving his security.
