Severe storms will be possible in Alabama starting very late tonight or Monday morning.

"Storms will form to our west late today then move our way this evening and overnight," the Weather Service said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“At 5:06 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Albion, or 8 miles southeast of Ligonier, moving northeast at 65 mph,” according to the weather service.
