The Chicago Cubs have been linked to Alex Bregman over the past few months and even more in recent weeks. Bregman, a two-time All-Star, still remains on the market. While his contract demands of a six-year deal are likely why he's available, it's a bit questionable why no team has signed him yet.

On Wednesday, FanSided's Zach Pressnell predicted that the Cubs would look to deal outfielder Seiya Suzuki, who has $38 million remaining on the five-year, $85 million deal he originally signed in Chicago, if they acquired Bregman.

At the age of 40, Turner is a highly accomplished right-handed hitter (.821 career OPS) with tons of postseason experience.
