The meta has been stagnant lately as melee weapons have dominated the competitive scene, so more guns will help shake things up in competitive Fortnite. The new guns haven't been released yet ...

At the time of writing I am unaware of any Fortnite unvaulted weapons and items making a return for Season 2, as everything seems to be either new or rolled over from the previous season.
