King Charles III and Queen Camilla are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary with new portraits taken in Rome during their state visit to Italy.
Camilla is wearing a white and beige coat dress by Anna Valentine and a Lily of the Valley brooch. The Lily of the Valley is seen by many to symbolize enduring love. According to online royal jewelry expert the Court Jeweller, the brooch once belonged to the Queen Mother.
Guernsey's new bank note designs will draw upon original artworks by islanders, but will not have a portrait of the King, the States' Treasurer has said. The family of £1, £5, £10 and £20 polymer notes are set to enter circulation in 2027 and will feature images of the island's natural and built landscape.
