An Orleans Parish Coroner's Office employee was captured on camera apparently dragging the bagged body of a homicide victim down the front steps of a Bywater home Thursday night, raising fresh criticism about the office’s procedures.

Back in 2021 at a crime scene on North Saint Patrick Street, a coroner's office employee was recorded dragging a body bag out of a house and down steps.

Video captured by a Project NOLA camera shows what appears to be a coroner's office employee dragging a body bag down the stairs of what is reportedly a Bywater home following a homicide that occurred in the area on Thursday evening,
