A Miami Dolphins divorce with Tyreek Hill could be coming this offseason after the receiver quit on the team in Week 18 and told reporters that he was "opening the door" to leave Miami. But would the Dolphins really consider trading Hill to a divisional rival?

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill caused many issues within his own team as he began angling to leave the franchise after the team missed out on the playoffs. Even though both sides appeared to be back on one accord, Hill was back on social media, seemingly stirring the pot.

Hill has been at the center point of trade rumors since he expressed his desire to leave the Dolphins after the season finale on January 5. But while speaking to NFL executives about the league’s offseason, an executive gave ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler a “wild” suggestion involving Hill — Miami trading him to the New England Patriots.

The Dolphins paid a king’s ransom for Tyreek Hill in 2022. They won’t get nearly the same haul back if they trade him this offseason.
