Jake Allen made 34 saves and shut out his former team as the New Jersey Devils beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-0.

Jake Allen is clearly comfortable playing in Montreal. Allen led the New Jersey Devils past the Montreal Canadiens with a 34-save shutout on Saturday afternoon, earning a win against his former team for the second time in two weeks.

Jake Allen will get the nod to start the New Jersey Devils final game before the 4-Nations break against the Montreal Canadiens. It will be the 34-year-old's 19th start this season. He is coming off a 3-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, where he made 37 saves on 40 shots.

The New Jersey Devils defeated the Montreal Canadiens 4-0 on Saturday afternoon in Montreal. While it wasn’t a flawlessly executed game by New Jersey, it was a massive improvement from their last game against the Golden Knights.
