Newly signed Giants quarterback Russell Wilson made it clear he expects to be QB1 for Big Blue and is focused first and foremost on that, and not New York potentially drafting another signal-caller.

Russell Wilson said he expects to be the starting quarterback of a Giants team that also signed Jameis Winston as a free agent and could also be in the market for a quarterback in this year's draft.

Wilson has always been a steadier hand at quarterback, even if his style is also somewhat unsustainable. Last season Wilson started 11 games with the Pittsburgh Steelers, going 6-5 with nearly 2,500 passing yards, 16 touchdowns and five interceptions. His passer rating (95.6) was only a few points below his career average (99.8).
