Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man accused of robbing a woman and not only getting away with her car, but also her dog. The carjacking happened at a gas station in the 900 block of Westheimer Road at Montrose Boulevard on Wednesday,

A man was found dead in a vehicle submerged in White Oak Bayou near Heights Boulevard Friday evening, according to the Houston Police Department. A Houston Fire Department spokesperson told the Chronicle firefighters were initially dispatched Friday afternoon to help recover a red vehicle that was found flipped and submerged in White Oak Bayou.

Authorities have only identified the victim as an adult man. It's unclear how the vehicle may have ended up in the water.
