Lando Norris heads to the second round of the Formula 1 season in China with a lead over champion Max Verstappen after winning a thrilling race in Australia.

Lewis Hamilton said he was “lacking information” from the Ferrari pitwall when he made the decision to stay out on slick tyres as the rain began to fall more heavily towards the end of Sunday’s chaotic, season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton had spent most of his racing career with the far-off dream of racing in Formula 1 for Ferrari. That dream finally was realized at the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday, but it wasn't the picture perfect start for the seven-time champion.
