Several counties are under a tornado watch on Tuesday for discrete storms that could bring all modes of severe weather: tornadoes, damaging winds and hail.

Tornado Watch for Alfalfa, Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Carter, Cleveland, Comanche, Custer, Garfield, Garvin, Grady, Jefferson, Kay, Kingfisher, Lincoln, Logan, Love, McClain, Major, Murray, Noble, Okfuskee, Oklahoma and Payne County until 12:00am. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Garfield, Kay, Major and Noble County until 6:30pm.

These areas face a significant threat of potentially destructive winds that could cause widespread power outages and tree damage.

The National Weather Service released an updated tornado watch at 4:48 a.m. on Monday in effect until 5 a.m. for Colbert and Lauderdale counties.

EDT on Sunday, the National Weather Service released an updated tornado watch in effect until 8 p.m. EDT for Branch County.

If the sirens sound, the National Weather Service will have issued a Tornado Warning for the local area, FCEM&HS said.

A Tornado Watch continues for central Indiana until 8pm. Large hail up to 1″ diameter, damaging straight-line winds near 60 miles per hour and heavy downpours up to 1″ are likely.
