Israeli forces in southern Lebanon opened fire on protesters on Sunday, demanding their withdrawal in accordance with a ceasefire agreement. At least 15 people were killed and more than 80 injured. The violence unfolded during protests in the region.

Israeli forces killed at least three people and injured dozens more in the country’s south, Lebanese officials said. Israel had agreed to withdraw its troops from the area as of Sunday.
