A group of Louisiana lawmakers sent a letter to the NFL this week asking for a “family-friendly” Super Bowl halftime show sparking mixed reaction from local residents.

Solána Imani Rowe, who goes by the stage name SZA, indirectly owes her career to Kendrick Lamar. She met members of the “euphoria” star’s former label, Top Dawg Entertainment, during the CMJ New Music Report in 2011. Her boyfriend’s clothing company was sponsoring a show in which Lamar was performing.
