Oregon State Hospital is in danger of losing its accreditation, which would result in a loss of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements.

The Oregon Health Authority’s Dave Baden has stepped in as the state hospital’s acting superintendent for the next 30 days.

Gov. Tina Kotek directed the Oregon Health Authority to replace the head of the state’s public psychiatric hospital Friday.
