Authorities have identified a man who was shot and killed by a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputy during an armed encounter that was caught on camera.

Dramatic new surveillance video shows the deadly encounter between a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s deputy and a man who was shot and killed by the deputy after authorities said he drew a gun.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, dispatchers received the call from inside a home in Three Lakes.
