The Winnipeg Jets and Florida Panthers have completed a goalie trade, with the Jets sending Kaapo Kahkonen to the Panthers in exchange for Chris Driedger.

Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zito announced today that the club has acquired goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen from the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for goaltender Chris Driedger.

In yet another move ahead of Friday's deadline, the reigning Cup champs have acquired goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen from the Winnipeg Jets for goaltender Chris Driedger, Frank Seravalli of DailyFaceoff reported Thursday.

Driedger has played 67 career NHL games for the Senators, Panthers, and Kraken and has a 31-24-5 record with five shutouts, a 2.45 GAA and a .917 SV%
