The National Weather Service says Michigan could see more than 8 inches of snow in places as a winter storm spreads across the state on Wednesday.
Storm Watch for heavy snow is in effect for all of Southeast Michigan from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning.
Numerous states had received winter weather-related alerts from the National Weather Service as of early Monday.
Up to 8 inches of snow could fall in Hillsdale County and Lenawee and Monroe counties could get up to 6 inches in storm expected to arrive Wednesday.
