Law enforcement officials raided the VIP Smoke Shop Warehouse in Norwood Wednesday afternoon. WLWT was on the scene as officers with the Warren County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant after getting complaints from parents, schools and school resource officers about what kids were getting their hands on.

Eight raids of VIP Smoke Shop locations in Warren County were conducted Thursday, one day after a VIP Smoke Shop warehouse in Norwood was also raided.
Local smoke shop warehouse raided by task force, owners previously indicted on 60 counts
The co-owners, brothers Wael Sharaydeh and Ismail Sharida, as well as a third person, were indicted in October of last year on 60 criminal counts. Those counts include possession and trafficking in hashish and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity between September 2022 and May 2024.
VIP Smoke Shops raided amid investigation into illegal vapes
More VIP Smoke Shop locations were being searched by law enforcement Thursday. Warren County Sheriff Barry Riley said they are executing eight search warrants at all the VIP Smoke Shop stores in the county.
