Indian pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah has been honoured as the ICC Men's Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024, following his finest-ever performance in the red-ball format, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC).

After being crowned as ICC Men's Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024, India's fast-bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah said he was deeply honoured on being conferred with the award, a feeling which he said is truly special.

Bumrah’s 71 wickets made him the leading wicket-taker in Test cricket for 2024, surpassing England’s Gus Atkinson, who finished second with 52 wickets from 11 matches.
