In his second mock draft which comes just prior to the NFL scouting combine, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. has the Cleveland Browns selecting a quarterback.

After sending Abdul Carter to the Titans with the first pick, Kiper reversed his course and delivered quarterback Cam Ward to the Browns at No. 2, according to espn.com. This choice came despite Kiper having Shedeur Sanders ranked above Ward.

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. dropped his second mock draft of the year on Tuesday, and the biggest surprise was former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders falling all the way to the New York Jets at No. 7.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Browns are releasing Juan Thornhill when the league year opens March 12, the safety told cleveland.com on Monday. The writing was on the wall Saturday when Thornhill, 29, posted on X, “Greater things to come. One day at a time.”

The Browns are moving on from safety Juan Thornhill after two injury-plagued seasons after he signed in 2023 from the Kansas City Chiefs.
