Martin chose to retire, his body unable to withstand the rigors of the sport any longer. Lawrence wants to continue his career, got a good deal from the Seahawks and was upset that the Cowboys didn’t do more to try to keep him. He was hurt and wanted to lash out at Jerry and Stephen Jones.

After 11 seasons with the team, seven-time All-Pro guard Zack Martin has announced his retirement from the game. It was a difficult decision for Martin, who will now hang up his boots after spending his entire professional career with the Cowboys organization.
