Long-time Pittsburgh Penguins’ announcer dies
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) – Long-time Pittsburgh Penguins broadcaster Mike Lange died at his home at the age of 76 on Wednesday. He spent 46 years calling Penguins games before retiring prior to the 2021-22 season. Lange was on the microphone for all five of Pittsburgh’s Stanley Cup championships in 1991, 1992, 2009, 2016, and 2017.
