Dragon, lion and snake dancers took to the streets of Chinatown once again to celebrate the Lunar New Year and welcome the year of the snake on a snowy Sunday morning.

Costumed lion dancers performed for two hours on a snowy Sunday to celebrate the Year of the Snake in Boston's Chinatown neighborhood.

Lunar New Year at MFA Boston 5 to 10 p.m. Jan. 30 One event that will take place later this week is a celebration at the Museum of Fine Arts displaying Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean artwork.
