A video showing a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) van burning in Philadelphia has been described online without evidence as the result of arson by “left-wing” actors or “Democrats,” however a Philadelphia Fire Department spokesperson said the fire was the result of an accident and no foul play was suspected.

Social media users have baselessly accused left-wing extremists of setting fire to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement van in Philadelphia.

Conservative influencers claimed that those against ICE mass deportation raids were behind the blaze on Tuesday.

A shelter-in-place order​ remains in place and voluntary evacuations have been ordered around the SPS Technologies facility after a massive fire broke out Monday night.

Officials said about the SPS Technologies fire that no drinking water supplies are at risk and air quality test results look good as of Wednesday.

The four-alarm fire that has ravaged the SPS Technologies campus on Highland Avenue in Abington since Monday “remains active but contained” as of Thursday morning, according to a statement from Abington Township.
