Aug 15, 2017 · Try placing two layers of wax paper over the card and iron the card through the wax paper. It should take most of the damaging heat, but also help to un-crease/un-bend the card. I would still try it on a card you do not care about first; but, the wax paper should fix the problem of potential damage to the card.

Oct 29, 2019 · Since it's pretty much dead, I would iron it. Put a thin shirt between the iron and the card, iron without water. Trick we would use for retro video game boxes with creases. Just go slowly and continously spot check it.

May 10, 2016 · Once there is a crease in a card, it is more or less permanent. You can try to flatten it out, but any serious creasing will have torn some amount of the cardboard on either side.
How would you grade a card with a small crease like that?
When I hear crease I think of a card that has been completely folded, and then bent back; creating a well defined bend line in the cardboard that can be called a crease. This looks more like a binder ding that has cause an indentation in the card.

Jan 29, 2022 · Looking at the picture of the front, this card clearly got wet, which not only caused the crease on the back, but bubbling of the foil on the front face of the card. My shop would consider this damaged when selling on TCG if you can feel the creasing through a standard sleeve. Heavily played.
