This M-50 started life as a Sherman M4A4 during World War 2. It was then repurposed for the Israeli Defence Force with a new gun and redesigned as an M-50. Its unusual BLOO paint scheme was designed to blend in with the blue sky when high on a ridge line when it served with the Southern Lebanese Army during the 1980's.
